Technologies at Our Dental Clinic

At North Delta Dental Professionals, we use technology to efficiently plan treatments and help your dental appointments run smoothly. Since we can display digital scans and x-rays on monitors in our treatment rooms, our dentist can show you any issues in your mouth and explain your treatment plan in detail.

We're on a mission to provide patients with efficient dental care, and to make sure they are fully informed regarding their oral health. Dental technology helps us accomplish this objective.

Digital X-Rays

Instead of traditional photographic x-ray film, digital x-rays use digital sensors to create highly detailed computer images of your teeth and gums, in addition to other oral structures and conditions. This allows the dentist to look at parts of your mouth that are not visible to the naked eye.

Panoramic X-Rays

Sometimes we need to create a single flat image of your entire mouth and for this, we use panoramic x-rays. These types of x-rays represent your teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and the sinus and nasal structures. Panoramic x-rays are typically used to assist in planning for extractions, implants and braces.

Dental Lasers

Lasers are extremely focused light beams that can be used in dentistry for a variety of soft tissue treatments, typically for healing and repair purposes. They help our dentist perform procedures such as lengthening crowns, treating periodontal disease and reshaping gums, with fewer medical interventions and less pain.

TRIOS Scanner

The TRIOS impression scanner captures highly accurate, 3D impressions of the soft and hard tissues of your mouth. With this scanner, we can store data digitally, display your expected results so we have a visual aid while we explain your diagnosis and treatment, and adjust your Invisalign treatment in real-time.
